Salthill Promenade Galway 21st July 2006
Description of performance
I am dressed in a garment made of 500 hundred pieces of used red clothing and I pull the weight of this costume along the promenade in Salthill (a 500m walk) on a Friday afternoon in July. The audience, surprisingly, assist and carry the load along the prom behind me. At the end of the prom, I take off the dress and we load it into a van to be taken for recycling.
