Clodagh Lavelle is based at Flax Art Studios Belfast. Her practice is performance with drawing, audio, installation and video.
‘Birds’ started off being a video version of a drawing game people play wherein they fold paper and draw different parts of the body, making in conclusion a haphazard representation of a person. The work developed into a version of a body where the separate parts each try to fly and change instead.
