Jana Leo was born in Madrid in 1965 and lives in New York. She has an M.A. in Architecture and a Ph.D. in Philosophy. She taught advance concepts in Culture for seven years at Cooper Union. She has worked in performance and film for 15 years and shown her work extensively.
Control Games NY recalls a situation of control: two people in a room, one with a gun. The character is kidnapped in her apartment in New York. In the performance it unfolds that art bridges emotions and fact. Art resists the dehumanization of attack. Duration 30 minutes.
